Java Developer

Job Title: Java DeveloperLocation: Washington District Of ColumbiaDuration: Long termNote: We need candidate who worked on government client or have any active/Inactive clearance Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using JavaBuild and optimize RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.Develop and manage SQL databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.Implement AI-driven features and leverage machine learning models where applicable.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop to requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) processes.Required Skills & Qualifications:Strong proficiency in Java and related frameworks (Spring Boot preferred)Expertise in Struts, Spring MVC, Git Bash, Java25, WebSphere, Tomcat, GitHub, GitHub Copilot, VersionOne, JUnit, JDBC, Maven, ALM, UFTDatabase Management: Hands-on experience with SQLAPI Development: Proven ability to design and consume RESTful APIsAI/ML Integration: Familiarity with AI concepts and ability to integrate ML models into applicationsKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesStrong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practicesExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environmentAdditional Required Skills/Experience:A minimum of ten (10) years experience in software developmentA degree from an accredited College/University in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline is preferred;Able to perform all functional duties independently;Experience training/mentoring less experienced personnel;Experience authoring or contributing to software-related documentation such as requirements specifications, design documents, technical manuals, and user manuals;Excellent communication skills.
