Travel Physical Therapist - Acute Care Hospital

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 2+ years of recent acute care experience for an inpatient assignment at a hospital in Walnut Creek, CA.Job Details• Inpatient physical therapy unit at an acute care hospital in Walnut Creek, CA,• Patient population includes Med Surg, Orthopedic, General Medical, and Neurologic cases,• Caseload of 7-9 patients per day,• 8-hour day shift, 8:00am-4:30pm, 40 hours per week,• Must be available to work one weekend (Saturday and Sunday) per month,• 13-week contract,Job Requirements• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in an acute care facility required,• Active CA PT license required; license required if applicable,• Current BLS certification required,• Two clinical references from the last two places of employment required, covering the last year, from someone in a leadership role (e.g., manager or director),• 7-year employment history required, with explanations for any gaps exceeding 30 days,• Current skills checklist required (valid within one year),Additional Information• Prior travel experience is preferred,• Candidates on a temporary or provisional license must disclose this status,
