Join us as we innovate, help our customers reach their potential, and connect underserved communities with unrivaled digital experiences.We’re looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer / Senior Sales Engineer (SSE) with deep expertise in Wi‑Fi and subscriber experience networking to join our Experience Edge team.This role focuses on Sales Opportunities and assisting the broader Calix team, while also engaging directly with Communications Service Providers (CSPs) to enable high‑quality wireless experiences across homes, small and medium businesses (SMB), and multi‑dwelling units (MDUs).You’ll act as a trusted technical partner across sales motions and customer engagements—strengthening technical credibility, supporting competitive wins, and helping teams navigate complex networking challenges.What You’ll DoServe as a technical advisor across Sales Opportunities, the broader Calix team, and CSP customersSupport Sales Opportunities by shaping solution positioning, technical messaging, and deal strategySubject matter expert in positioning advanced premise solutionsEngage CSP technical teams to design, validate, and optimize 802.11 wireless networksApply strong knowledge of networking and in‑home gateway platformsSupport MDU deployments, including shared and managed Wi‑Fi modelsTranslate subscriber experience goals into scalable, supportable technical designsDeliver technical presentations, demos, and solution walkthroughsSupport pre‑sales discovery, solution alignment, and RFP responsesMaintain awareness of competitive solutions and market tacticsDevelop internal training, presentations, and sales enablement materialsStay current on wireless standards and industry best practicesQualificationsBSEE/BSCS degree is desired and preferred.Experience with Layer 1/2/3 network architectures and technologiesSolid understanding of SaaS cloud-based solutions and API integration.Ability to convey complex concepts at multiple levels within an organization.Experience with various Wi-Fi standards and managed Wi-Fi solutions.Experience in the service provider industry preferred.Strong interpersonal and soft skills.Experience working in cross-functional teams.Ability to work remotely and travel frequently within territory.Must have a valid driver's license.Industry certifications preferred but not required.TravelUp to 60% in-territory.Please note that as part of the recruitment and hiring process, there is an in-person meeting that will take place. More information about the pay range specific to candidate location and other factors will be shared during the recruitment process.
