Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (Direct Hire Opportunity)Haltom City, TX Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 - BOE 2nd Shift Steel Manufacturing!!JOB SUMMARYThis position maintains production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. Electrical knowledge is required This position is required to work on all assigned task and will work under the supervision of the maintenance supervisor. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to repair, troubleshoot and upgrade a variety of industrial machines and equipment in our steel manufacturing facility. In this role, the incumbent is responsible for completing maintenance service and repairs of plant equipment, machinery, etc. This role is also responsible for maintaining buildings and plant facilities in clean, orderly and working conditions, in addition to, building a positive working relationship across other departments with a main focus on production.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma or GED, plus 4-6 years of progressive related work experienceAn active Journeyman license and maintain for continued employment.QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge of industrial maintenanceKnowledge of equipment maintenance and technical understandingKnowledge and understanding of Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and requirementsKnowledge of Safety Rules and ProceduresKnowledge of equipment maintenance and technical understandingWorking knowledge of electrical, plumbing and carpentryMust be a self-starter with excellent organizational skillsMust be able to follow deadlines and work under pressureMust be able to management deadlines with conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.Must be ability to read, write and speak EnglishSkill in use of power toolsSkill in effective communicationAbility to work independently or as part of a team.Successfully pass an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic test, a background check, including criminal history, drug screen, physical, audiogram, and vision test.RESPONSIBILITIESEnsures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, electrical schematics, hydraulic schematic, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges. 6. Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies.Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Send us your resume!#zrfw #googlevipftw #vipftw
