Interventional Radiology Location: Charlottesville, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,072 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 26 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: Imaging Support Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:30 - 18:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology License: Valid state license required; pending license acceptable if eligible for temporary license Certifications: ARRT required; BLS required Must-Have: - Experience in a hybrid operating room - Knowledge of special procedures - Proficiency in Angioplasty and Carotid Stenting - Experience with vascular closure systems - Ability to perform thrombolysis/thrombectomy and endovascular interventions - Familiarity with upper and lower extremity angiography - Knowledge of EVAR and TEVAR procedures Description: This role is for an imaging support technologist in a vascular interventional radiology environment. The positions involve assisting in the operating room during interventional radiology procedures. Responsibilities include prepping access sites and ensuring the availability of necessary equipment. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a rotating on-call schedule every fourth week. BLS and ARRT certification are required. Experience with the Epic charting system is necessary. Candidates must have the ability to float within their scope of practice as needed. This position may require the handling of complex procedures and equipment. An understanding of patient protocols and safety measures in interventional radiology is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams are important for success in this role.
