Drill Locator

Job Description We are looking for a Drill Locator to join our team. You will be responsible for tracking the drill head and guiding the operator through successful bore shots. We are looking for a reliable person who can accurately navigate underground utilities and ensure every project is completed safely. Responsibilities * Operate hand-held locating electronics to track the depth, pitch, and path of the drill head. * Provide constant, clear radio communication to the Drill Operator to stay on course. * Assist the crew with setup, potholing, and basic maintenance between bore shots. * General maintenance duties as needed. Qualifications * Experience in horizontal directional drilling (HDD) preferred. * A strong understanding of underground utility safety and "potholing" standards. * Safety-aware and the ability to work with others.
