Details of Assignment: Location: Soldotna, AKDuration: November 1 - Ongoing (per your availability)Schedule: Mon-Fri 8a-5, rotating weeknight/weekend callCall: On call 3 weeknights each week, 2 weekends/month. Call is very minimal. Current provider has only needed to come in 5-8 times total in 3 years.Volume: 20 cases per day, 4,000 annuallyScope: Clinical and Anatomical Pathology. Generalist coverage Good portion is GI biopsy, Breast biopsy, and Prostate biopsy. Minimal non-gyn cytology and no paps. Large tumor, Marrow, etc shipped out. Lab has a ThinPrep machine for cytologyEMR: EPICGroup/Support: 1 employed .5 FTE pathologist. 2 lab techsRequired: Board Certified in Clinical and Anatomical Pathology. Minimum of 3-5 years experience.
