EVENTS & PRIVATE DINING MANAGERBeautiful New Modern Italian Restaurant | Midtown Manhattan$75K–85K Base + 3% CommissionA beautiful new Modern Italian restaurant recently opened 6 months ago in Midtown Manhattan is looking for a warm, organized, and relationship-driven Events & Private Dining Manager to help build something truly special from the very beginning.This is a very exciting opportunity for someone who genuinely loves hospitality, people, restaurants, networking, and creating memorable experiences.The events department is currently being managed directly by ownership, so this role will play a huge part in helping shape and grow the program moving forward. We are looking for someone entrepreneurial, proactive, creative, and excited to bring fresh energy and ideas to the table.This role is focused on:✨ Private dining & events✨ Relationship-building & outreach✨ Growing sales & partnerships✨ Client experience✨ Marketing collaboration & social media ideas✨ Helping create a strong and organized events program from the ground upYou’ll work closely with ownership in a collaborative, positive, and modern environment where your ideas and contributions will genuinely matter.WHAT THE ROLE WILL LOOK LIKEYou’ll be:Managing inbound and outbound private dining and event inquiriesBuilding relationships with corporate clients, hotels, concierge teams, PR agencies, and local businessesCoordinating dinners, celebrations, cocktail parties, buyouts, tastings, and special eventsCreating proposals, contracts, menus, and event timelinesCollaborating closely with ownership, culinary leadership, and operations teamsHelping organize and build systems for a growing events departmentAssisting with partnerships, creative outreach, marketing ideas, and social media collaborationsFinding ways to grow visibility, guest engagement, repeat business, and overall event revenueWe’d love someone who enjoys being both creative and organized — someone who can build relationships while also keeping details, timelines, and communication running smoothly.WHO WE’D LOVE TO MEETSomeone with previous Events Sales, Private Dining, or Hospitality Events experienceA naturally warm, polished, and outgoing personalityStrong communication and organizational skillsSomeone independent and proactive who enjoys ownership and autonomyA candidate who understands modern hospitality culture, guest engagement, branding, and social mediaNYC hospitality connections are a huge plusExperience with restaurants, hotels, nightlife, lifestyle brands, or event-driven venues is highly preferredSomeone excited by growth opportunities and being part of a new opening from day oneMost importantly, we are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality and loves building relationships with people.SCHEDULE & WORK ENVIRONMENTThis role does require a strong on-site presence initially, especially during the opening and early growth phase of the events program while ownership is still directly involved day-to-day.That said, the long-term vision is absolutely to create flexibility and autonomy for the right person.
