Commercial Finish Carpenter

Job Description We are seeking an experienced Finish Carpenter for an active commercial tenant improvement (TI) project in San Jose. This role focuses on high-quality finish installation including millwork, restroom castings, and precision trim work. Ideal candidates have strong layout skills, can read plans independently, and produce clean, professional results in occupied or near-completion environments.ResponsibilitiesInstall architectural millwork including panels, casework, and finish assembliesCut and install linear trim and finish detailsInstall restroom castings, accessories, and partitionsInterpret construction drawings and finish schedulesMeasure, layout, and fabricate finish components accuratelyMaintain tight tolerances and alignment standardsCoordinate with superintendents and other trades onsiteComplete punch-list finish corrections as neededMaintain clean and safe work areasRequirements4+ years of commercial finish carpentry experienceStrong experience with tenant improvement projectsAbility to install millwork, trim systems, and restroom finish componentsComfortable reading blueprints and finish details independentlyOwn standard finish carpentry toolsReliable transportationAbility to work efficiently in fast-paced commercial environmentsStorefront or retail finish carpentryRestaurant TI projectsRestroom partition systems and accessoriesWall panel systems or feature wall installsWorking from architectural finish schedules
