Mermaid Performer — Children's Party Entertainer

Summary Character Clubhouse is seeking energetic, engaging, and reliable performers to portray a Mermaid Character for children birthday parties, community events, festivals, and special celebrations throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. We are a premium children's entertainment company known for creating magical, interactive experiences through professional performers and high-quality character entertainment. Our performers bring magic to life by interacting with children, leading simple games, posing for photos, storytelling and creating unforgettable experiences for families. Responsibilities Perform engaging aquatic performances as a mermaid, captivating audiences with swimming skills and theatrical flair Interact with children and families through storytelling, games, and imaginative play Pose for photos and interact warmly with families Maintain character integrity, throughout the event Arrive on time, prepared, and in full costume Create a magical and memorable experience for every child Ideal Candidates Outgoing, energetic, and comfortable entertaining children Background in acting, theater, dance, improv, or performance is a plus Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude Comfortable performing in costume and staying in character Ability to command attention in a fun and engaging way Requirements Must be comfortable performing in costume Must have reliable transportation Weekend availability is required (most events occur on Saturday and Sundays) Ability to stay in character during events Must have a friendly, professional demeanor Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: From $60.00 per hour Schedule: On call Weekends as needed Application Question(s): Do you have experience as a swimming mermaid?
