The company services municipal contracts with some of the largest and fastest growing cities in the U.S. including New York City, Austin, San Antonio, and Phoenix.About the Role:The Maintenance Technician C is a senior-level maintenance professional responsible for performing advanced diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on plant equipment. This role works independently with minimal supervision and provides guidance and technical support to junior maintenance technicians.The Maintenance Technician C plays a critical role in ensuring optimal equipment performance, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.Responsibilities:Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs in accordance with Circular policies and all safety and OSHA requirements.Execute and lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure plant equipment reliability and efficiency.Diagnose, adjust, repair, or replace fixed and rolling stock equipment including, but not limited to, balers, conveyor systems, gearboxes, electrical motors, machine shafts, rollers, bearings, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic schematics and technical manuals.Provide training, direction, and technical support to Maintenance Technician A and B team members.Identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend long-term corrective solutions.Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.Ensure a clean and safe work area in compliance with Corporate and OSHA standards.Participate in facility improvement projects and equipment installations as needed.Work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, to support operational needs and emergency repairs.Minimum Job Qualifications:3+ years of industrial maintenance experience (recycling, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environment preferred).Experience with balers, conveyors, and processing equipment.High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environmentAble to follow instructions for operating equipment and record keepingAble to execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe mannerAble to maintain a clean & safe environmentPreferred Job Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years of ageLegally eligible to work in the United States.Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodationsWorking Conditions and Physical Requirements:Normal work environment is outdoors, with exposure to all weather conditions, dirt, high levels of noise, smells/odors and at times exposure to dangerous and/or toxic substances requiring necessary precautions, including PPE.The physical demands described here are representative of those which must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.Required to use motor coordination with arms, hands, fingers, and legs.Required to engage in physical activity that includes pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting objects more than 80 pounds.Required to work from ladders or raised platforms.Required to stand or work on concrete floors most of the workday.Will be exposed to a physical environment, which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements most of the workday.Normal setting for this job is material recycle facilities, repair/maintenance facility, outdoors or other facilities.Job Type:Full-timeLocation:Frisco, TXBenefits:Paid Parental LeaveHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceHSA/ FSAPaid time offEmployee Assistance Program401k matchingTuition ReimbursementEEOC:Circular Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Prohibits Discrimination and Harassment of Any Kind: Circular Services is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
