ControllerLocation: Grand Rapids, MI (Onsite)Compensation: $150,000–$165,000The OpportunityA growing, privately held multi-entity organization is seeking a Controller to lead the accounting and financial operations of a complex portfolio of operating entities. The ideal candidate is someone who is equally comfortable owning the accounting function end to end and partnering with investors and ownership on financial strategy, capital allocation, and cash flow decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the full accounting function across a multi-entity, multi-state environmentOwn monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and close processesManage treasury operations, cash flow, and intercompany transfers across 40+ bank accountsOversee accounting for capital expenditures, development projects, and property-level activityServe as a financial partner to ownership and investors, presenting and explaining performanceSupport due diligence and financial integration related to acquisitionsAdminister and optimize financial systems and tools (ERP, AP, expense, and credit card platforms)Lead, coach, and develop a growing accounting team with a hands-on, collaborative approachQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred5–10 years of Controller-level experience within a multi-entity environment (required)Minimum 5 years of people leadership experienceStrong hands-on background in accounting operations, financial reporting, and treasury managementERP experience in a multi-entity environment (NetSuite strongly preferred)Exposure to asset-heavy or operating-company structures (e.g., real estate, hospitality, or similar) is a plusExperience supporting acquisitions, entity integrations, or rapid growth environments is beneficialDemonstrated ability to lead with empathy, coach developing teams, and communicate effectively with ownership and investors#INAPR2026 #LI-MS6 #ZRCFS Controller Controller Controller Controller
