Senior Administrative Assistant

Job Summary: This position supports the Vice President, Market Access. Key responsibilities include performing diverse administrative duties, which by nature of the position involve high level contacts and exposure to sensitive information. Strong attention to detail and follow up will be required. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Position requires an administrative professional with experience working with/for upper-level management. Candidate must also be comfortable working and communicating with executives both within and external to the Company and maintain good working knowledge of the Company's corporate policies. Demonstrated experience in project and task management. Must be technology proficient across various computer applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word). Must be easily adaptable to new learning situations, ability to set priorities, be very proactive, and work with limited supervision. Proactively manages calendars, schedules meetings and conferences, makes travel arrangements and prepares expense reports. Independently manage administrative projects, compilation of correspondence, reports, data, and presentations. Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to change. The candidate must portray a positive attitude, be a proactive team player, relationship builder, with the ability to interface in a professional manner at all levels. Will work closely with the administrative team, attending monthly administrative meetings, providing support to administrative colleagues throughout the Company. Schedule and maintain job interview schedules. Order food catering for meetings, interviews, as requested. Provide logistical support for international and domestic travel arrangements. Form and edit PowerPoint presentations. Organizational Chart and Sales Roster updates, as necessary. All other duties, projects and responsibilities as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A Knowledge & Other Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. College a plus. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an administrative role. Self-motivated and with ability to independently manage administrative projects, compilation of reports, metrics, and presentations. Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to change. The candidate must portray a positive attitude, be a proactive team player and relationship builder, with the ability to interface in a professional manner at all levels. Experience working with a marketing team a plus. Ability to organize and prioritize, work independently and meet deadlines. Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), with excellent telephone skills required. Ability to use the internet to locate pertinent information when required. Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Gantt experience would be beneficial. Flexibility and adaptability to organize and manage multiple projects and assignments. Ability to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment. Other Characteristics: Ability to work independently and as part of a team and maintain high ethical standards of integrity and quality. Ability of having an innovative and dynamic approach to work. A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment. Capable of performing other duties as assigned by Management. Authorized to legally work in the United States without visa sponsorship. Physical Requirements/Work Environment/Travel Requirements: Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or carrying objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer screen, iPad, or other electronic device; and extensive reading. The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions. At Supernus, we offer a competitive compensation package that reflects your experiences and contributions. The expected salary range for fully qualified candidates applying for this role is $70,000 - $75,000. This range is what the Company reasonably expects to offer for the position and is not reflective of the full compensation scale of the role. This range may be modified in the future. An individual’s salary within the range is based on multiple factors, which may include and are not limited to education, relevant experience, knowledge, length of industry experience and organizational needs. Base salary is one part of the overall compensation package, which includes the opportunity to participate in employee stock purchase programs and performance-based bonus programs.
