Become a part of our fast-growing, dynamic team and we'll help you build a career that will exceed your expectations.What Your Day-to-day Will Look LikeSupport the VP of Order to Cash with evaluations, approvals and analyses that support pricing and transportation management groups; monitor reports to ensure compliance with financial and Sarbanes-Oxley guidelinesSupervise the support functions in the Freight Audit and Payment systems, with an emphasis on the continuous improvement of processes, systems, procedures and resources; calculate and distribute monthly individual freight payment employee production metricsMonitor daily workflow to ensure efficient, timely, thorough and accurate invoice auditing, processing and exception invoice resolution.Collaborate with internal and external parties to address and resolve carrier payment and billing issuesHandle all management-level responsibilities for staff, including performance reviews, employee development, hiring, firing, coaching and counseling; develop reports and programs to increase the bench strength and flexibility of the teamCollaborate with operations, customers, carriers and IT on developing and implementing new systems and/or system enhancements supporting the freight payment and audit processesAt a Minimum, You’ll Need5 years of experience in transportation and accounts payable2 years of experience supervising a professional staffProficiency in Microsoft OfficeBasic knowledge of carrier contracts and rate structures, as well as accounts payable/receivable practicesIt’d Be Great If You Also HaveBachelor’s degree in Transportation or AccountingAvailability to travel occasionallyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong project and time management skillsDoes this sound like you?
