Job Title: Operations Specialist – Drone Delivery SupportLocation: San Francisco, CA (Onsite)Duration: 12+ MonthsAbout the RoleWe are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Operations Specialist to support on-site drone delivery operations. This role is critical to enabling safe and efficient last-mile delivery by handling ground-based operational tasks and collecting accurate geolocation data.Note: This is not a drone piloting role. You will support field operations that make drone deliveries possible.Key ResponsibilitiesField Operations & Data CollectionCollect and validate geolocation and delivery zone data across multiple locationsTravel to assigned delivery zones using a personal vehicleEnsure accuracy and completeness of field data to support drone operationsOperational SupportAssist in day-to-day on-site operations in a fast-paced testing environmentFollow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocolsMaintain organized workflows to support smooth executionReporting & FeedbackIdentify issues in the field and provide clear, actionable feedbackAct as the eyes and ears on the ground for engineering and operations teamsDocument observations to improve processes and system performanceTeam CollaborationWork closely with a cross-functional team including engineers and operatorsCommunicate effectively with merchants and local stakeholdersContribute to a culture of accountability, reliability, and teamworkRequired QualificationsValid driver's license and access to a reliable personal vehicleComfortable with frequent travel between sites and working outdoorsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow processes preciselyGood verbal and written communication skillsReliable, punctual, and proactive mindsetPreferred QualificationsExperience in field operations, logistics, delivery, or data collectionFamiliarity with mapping, GPS, or geolocation toolsExperience working in fast-paced or startup environmentsWhat You'll GainExposure to autonomous drone delivery systemsHands-on experience in last-mile logistics operationsOpportunity to work closely with engineering and product teamsPractical skills in field operations, quality control, and process improvement
