Success requires deep hands‐on board‐level experience, strong judgment around high‐speed tradeoffs, and the ability to work effectively with manufacturing and assembly partners.Design and develop verification and evaluation boards for semiconductor IC productsTranslate design goals into hardware solutions, including:Package pin‐out feasibilityComponent selection and PCB material selectionStack‐up definition and schematic capturePerform PCB layout or guide layout designers; oversee simulation, fabrication, and assemblyAddress signal integrity, interconnects, and high‐speed routing considerationsParticipate in mechanical coordination for board outlines, stability, and simple fixtures/bracketsCollaborate closely with:Analog and digital IC design teamsPackage engineersDVT and product teamsLead design reviews and contribute to technical decision‐making forumsCreate documentation, support bring‐up and debug, and respond to questions on board usage and limitations
