Position: Specialty Pharmacist In ChargeLocation: Lakewood Ranch, FL 34211Duration: Full-time, direct hireSalary: $135k-$150kShift Times: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm ET (no nights, no weekends)Start Date: ASAPPharmacist-in-Charge (Onsite)Insight Global is seeking a Pharmacist-in-Charge to run a closed door oncology specialty pharmacy. You will help ensure compliance, oversee daily operations, and collaborate with clinics to enhance patient access and safety.Key Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations (DEA, Board of Pharmacy, etc.)Serve as PIC, managing licensure, inspections, and controlled substancesOversee dispensing accuracy, patient safety, and clinical protocolsLead audits, maintain records, and respond to regulatory bodiesSupervise and train pharmacy staffCollaborate with providers to optimize medication access and formulary useManage inventory, including temperature-sensitive drugs and recallsSupport strategic growth and value-based care initiativesAct as clinical expert for counseling, substitutions, and authorizationsOwn pharmacy workflow from intake to dispensingQualifications:Active pharmacist license in FloridaStrong knowledge of specialty medications (oncology preferred)Comfortable working in a startup environment and building processesProficient in pharmacy software (e.g., QS1, PioneerRx) and EMRs (e.g., EPIC)PharmD or equivalent degreePlusses:Prior PIC experienceExperience with benefits investigation, prior auths, and financial assistance
