This role provides mentoring and guidance to faculty as assigned by the Program Chair and/or Department Chair. The Lead Faculty serves as a support position for faculty and may be assigned responsibilities to assist with faculty on-boarding, areas of development, or specific University or program initiatives. Also, this position may be assigned remediation or student support functions based on the needs of the program. The Lead Faculty is credentialed and approved as faculty for the appointed program of study and is expected to complete teaching assignments within the scope of the University faculty workload policy. This role is supporting graduate-level nursing.RequirementsHold a Master of Science in Nursing with a PhD, DNP or Doctorate in Education or related Healthcare field.Hold an Adult Gerontology Primary Care Board Certification.Hold an active and unencumbered Wisconsin or Compact RN license.Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in online nursing education.A minimum of 2 years' experience teaching in a graduate nursing program is preferred.CompensationCompensation is determined based on the qualifications, experience, and circumstances of each hire. It is uncommon for new employees to start near the top of the salary range. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a tuition waiver and reimbursement program, health insurance, paid time off, and a retirement savings plan. The salary range for this position is $78,000 to $91,800 (Mid-point of overall range).
