This firm provides comprehensive financial planning that includes estate planning as a standard component of every client engagement, supported by an integrated in-house team of advisors, tax professionals, and legal support staff.About the RoleThe Estate Planning Paralegal will play a critical role in supporting the firm's estate planning function, working alongside financial advisors and tax professionals to ensure clients receive accurate, timely, and professionally executed estate planning documents and support. This is a relationship-driven role where you will work directly with clients and be a key part of a collaborative, service-first team.ResponsibilitiesDraft, prepare, and coordinate estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directivesSupport Wealth Advisors in communicating estate planning concepts and document requirements to clientsManage document preparation timelines and ensure accuracy and compliance across all estate plan filingsCoordinate with clients and advisors to gather required information and signaturesMaintain organized records of client estate planning files and track document status through completionCoordinate with in-house tax professionals on integrated planning strategiesStay current on Arizona estate planning laws, regulations, and best practicesContribute to the continuous improvement of estate planning workflows and documentation standards QualificationsParalegal certificate, Arizona Supreme Court Legal Document Preparer certification, or degree in paralegal or legal studies preferredExperience in estate planning, trust administration, or elder law — this is a specialty role, not general legal supportFamiliarity with Arizona estate planning laws and common document types including revocable trusts, pour-over wills, TOD deeds, and powers of attorneyExperience working alongside financial advisors or in a wealth management environment a strong plusDetail-oriented and highly organized — accuracy in document preparation is non-negotiableStrong client-facing communication skills; able to explain processes clearly to clients who may be unfamiliar with estate planningCollaborative, low-ego professional who thrives in a team-based, service-first environment Pay range and compensation packageCompetitive base salary reflecting experience and specialization: $65,000–$75,000+ depending on experienceMedical, dental, and vision insurancePTO and paid holidays including birthday offHalf-day Fridays when production targets are metTeam activities and additional employee perks Equal Opportunity StatementThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Tempe, Arizona.
