Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP)Location: Albany, GeorgiaAbout MSA Orthopedics: MSA Orthopedics is a leading orthopedic medical and surgical facility dedicated to putting patients first. Our philosophy emphasizes the importance of our patients, and we seek team members who embody this commitment.Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience, with a preference for those with orthopedic experience. You should be well-versed in the role of an APP and have advanced knowledge beyond basic concepts. Excellent bedside manner and alignment with MSA’s mission of putting patients first are crucial.Key Responsibilities:Assess patient health through interviews, physical examinations, and reviewing medical histories.Determine abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests and interpreting results.Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and/or injections.Provide office call coverage, handling patient concerns and medical issues as they arise.Work collaboratively with physicians in both office and surgical settings.Provide patient education and support to enhance treatment plans.Assist in surgical procedures and provide call coverage as needed.Qualifications:Minimum 5 years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider; orthopedic experience preferred.In-depth understanding of the APP role and advanced knowledge in the field.Excellent bedside manner and ability to embody MSA’s patient-first philosophy.Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.Current Georgia licensure as an advanced practice nurse or certification as a Physician Assistant.ACLS, BLS, and Healthcare Provider certifications are required.Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR).Benefits:Work-life balance (37-hour workweek)Company-sponsored health insurancePaid time off8.5 Paid Holidays401(k) / 401(k) matchingDental, Vision, Short-term and Long-term Disability, Accidental, and Critical Illness insuranceLife insuranceGym MembershipApplication Process: Interested candidates should submit their resumes and cover letters to dcraft@msaortho.com.
