Field and Event Marketing Lead

JOB DESCRIPTION Forrest Johnson Recruiting is partnering with an industry-leading consumer services brand that is recognized as one of the top and fastest-growing companies in their industry. Our client is building out a field marketing team who will travel to assigned markets (80% travel) to execute events and localized marketing initiatives. Each Field and Event Marketing Lead will focus on coordination, hands-on execution, and performance tracking of local events and field marketing programs while partnering closely with regional leaders, site teams, and corporate marketing.The ideal candidate is positive, highly organized, execution-oriented, and eager to grow into a strategic field marketing role!Key responsibilities of the Field and Event Marketing Lead include but are not limited to:Field Marketing Execution Execute localized marketing campaigns, promotions, and events across assigned marketsDirectly support pre-opening, opening, and post-opening marketing initiatives for new locationsEnsure brand standards and messaging are consistently applied at the local levelHelp create memorable customer experiences that strengthen brand loyalty and community connectionCommunity Engagement and Brand ActivationServe as a brand ambassador within assigned marketsIdentify and execute local marketing opportunities that increase brand visibility and drive trafficResearch, recommend, and support participation in community events, sponsorships, festivals, fundraisers, and local partnershipsCoordinate on-site event execution, including setup, promotional materials, staffing support, and customer engagementBuild and maintain relationships with community organizations and local business partnersRepresent company at local events, grand openings, sponsorship activations, and community initiatives (occasional evenings and weekends required)Assist in evaluating sponsorship and event opportunities based on brand alignment, community impact, and business goalsMarketing and Site Support Serve as day-to-day marketing support for site leaders and regional teamsAssist with local marketing calendars, timelines, and execution checklistsCoordinate signage, collateral, promotional materials, and vendor needsTroubleshoot execution issues and escalate risks proactivelyCross-Functional SupportPartner with operations and new site training teams to align marketing executionSupport agency partners and local vendors as directedAssist in rolling out corporate campaigns to field locationsPerformance and Reporting Track field marketing activity and basic performance metrics (traffic, participation, conversion)Compile post-event and post-launch recaps with insights and recommendationsProcess and Playbook Management Follow established field marketing playbooks and execution standardsContribute feedback and ideas to improve tools, processes, and local activation programsHelp document best practices and field learnings REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSExperienceBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred1–3 years of experience in marketing, events, hospitality, retail, or field operations preferredExperience in multi-location, retail, franchise, or service-based environments a plusAbility to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends for eventsSkillsStrong execution and organizational skillsDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesClear communicator with strong follow-throughComfortable representing the brand at community events and public-facing activationsComfortable working cross-functionally and in fast-paced environmentsWillingness to travel to field locations as neededEagerness to learn and grow into a broader field marketing rolePersonal AttributesWilling to travel up to 80% of timeComfortable working with others High degree of self-accountability Energetic, outgoing, and comfortable engaging with customers and community partnersComfortable working independently in field environments ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONThis company is an equal opportunity employer.
