The Department of Neurology has seen tremendous growth over the past five years across all regions, with the goal of providing comprehensive, integrated health care and wellness services.
Nationally Recognized Stroke Care: Join a leading stroke program with the nation's most extensive system of comprehensive stroke centers, including 4 Comprehensive Stroke Programs, 11 Primary Stroke Centers, and a Thrombectomy-Capable Center. Three of our hospitals are ranked in the U.S. News & World Report Top 50, including North Shore University Hospital at #22.
Extensive Network: work within a vast network of 16 New York State-designated stroke centers, ensuring access to cutting‑edge research and treatment advances.

Candidate Qualifications
D. Degree from an accredited institution (ACGME or foreign program that is similarly appropriately accredited)
Completion of Neurology residency and Stroke/Vascular fellowship
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology
Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed as a physician in the State of New York

Full‑time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity. The base compensation range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
