2nd Shift CNC Mill Setup Operator

Job Description Description:The CNC Mill Setup/Operator is responsible for setting up and utilizing 3-4 Axis Vertical (Horizontal is a plus) CNC/Manual controlled machines in a safe and efficient manner to produce quality goods. This position reports directly to the Manager and is responsible for the machining and manufacturing of parts meeting quality, cost, and delivery requirements set by the leadership team.Requirements:Operate and set up CNC machining equipment utilizing a wide range of controlsStrong ability to perform job set-up using traditional clamping methods, vices and custom work holding fixturesSet up and operate precision testing, measuring, and inspection instrumentsComplete documentation as requiredAccurately utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, height gauges, pin gauges, and gauge blocksAbility to run multiple pieces of equipment during cycle timeDaily communication with supervisors, planners, leads, and other employeesMaintain a high standard of quality and work within the organization's environmental, health, and safety standardsWork within the SOP for machine shop supplies and make sure proper tooling is maintained and secure.Diligence and accuracy in following procedures and requirementsAbility to manage time to meet routed cycleLarge bed mill and programming with Mastercam a plusHourly pay rate will be $25.00 to $32.00 plus a 25% differential for second shift
