Commercial Overhead Door & Dock Equipment Technician Helper (Full-Time)

We’re hiring a Technician Helper to assist with the installation and service of commercial overhead doors and dock equipment. This is a hands-on position with strong growth potential for someone who wants to learn a skilled trade. What You’ll Do Assist lead technicians with service and installation of: Commercial overhead/sectional doors Rolling steel doors Dock levelers, dock seals, and dock accessories Door operators and controls Load/unload materials and tools and keep the work vehicle organized Set up job sites and help maintain a clean, safe work area Perform basic mechanical work under supervision (fastening, alignment, cleanup) Follow safety procedures and job site rules Communicate with the lead tech and support job completion What We’re Looking For Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn Mechanically inclined (basic hand/power tool knowledge is a plus) Able to lift 50–75 lbs and work in physically demanding conditions Comfortable working at heights (ladders/lifts) Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation Preferred (Not Required) Construction, mechanical, electrical, or overhead door experience OSHA 10/30 (or willingness to obtain) Why Work With Us Consistent work and overtime opportunities Training provided + clear path to Technician role Competitive pay based on experience Benefits available: [medical / PTO / etc.] Apply today — we’re looking to hire immediately.
