We've built a network of Solely Certified Farms, developed patented cold-press processing technology, and grown into the #1 brand of Dried Mango and Pineapple in the U.S. In 2026, Whole Foods named us one of their Next Big Things.We're growing fast, and we're looking for a Production Planning Manager to help us scale with precision.About the RoleAs Production Planning Manager, you'll own the production planning process for a complex, multi-SKU portfolio of shelf-life-sensitive products across multiple warehouse locations. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of data, strategy, and execution. You'll work closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, and Production teams to keep our products moving to customers on time, in full, and always fresh.If you've thrived in fast-paced CPG environments where shelf life, freshness, and forecast accuracy are mission-critical, this role was built for you.What You'll DoBuild and maintain weekly SKU-level production plans using inventory on hand, open POs, sales forecasts, weeks-on-hand targets, and customer shelf-life requirementsCalculate net requirements and recommend production quantities and timing to maintain optimal stock levels across warehousesMonitor inventory aging and proactively manage expiration and obsolescence riskSupport S&OP with scenario analysis, trade-off recommendations, and performance reportingAnalyze forecast accuracy and continuously improve models, assumptions, and planning processesTrack key metrics including inventory turns, service levels, WOH performance, and at-risk inventoryIncorporate seasonality, promotions, and market trends into production plansDrive root-cause analysis on stockouts and imbalances and turn findings into lasting improvementsWhat You Bring2 to 5+ years in demand planning, production planning, or inventory forecasting in a CPG environmentExperience managing shelf-life-constrained products (food & beverage, personal care, or similar categories)Strong Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables) and comfort working with large, complex datasetsSharp analytical thinking paired with the communication skills to translate data into decisionsCross-functional collaboration experience and the ability to navigate competing priorities with confidenceBonus Points ForExperience in food & beverage or other shelf-life-sensitive CPG categoriesKnowledge of FEFO (First Expired, First Out) and shelf-life management practicesFamiliarity with Power BI or SAPAPICS/ASCM certificationSpanish language skillsCompensation and LocationThis role is based in La Jolla, CA and offers a salary range of $95,000 to $115,000, plus bonus eligibility.Why SolelyWe're a mission-driven brand with real momentum.
