Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven *Project Manager* to oversee project operations, financial performance, and team leadership. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget while maintaining strong relationships with clients, employees, vendors, and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a strategic and hands-on leader with strong business acumen, financial awareness, operational expertise, and the ability to build and lead high-performing teams. Key Responsibilities: Operations Management * Lead the planning, execution, and completion of projects from start to finish. * Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies. * Monitor project progress, productivity, quality, and operational performance. * Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track. * Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and internal departments. * Ensure projects comply with company policies, safety standards, quality requirements, and contractual obligations. * Establish and monitor KPIs to improve productivity, efficiency, and overall project performance. * Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency. Financial Management * Develop and manage project budgets and financial forecasts. * Monitor project costs, labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and other expenses. * Track project profitability, gross margins, revenue, and cost performance. * Review financial reports and identify variances between actual and budgeted performance. * Implement cost-control strategies while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction. * Support invoicing, change orders, purchase orders, and accounts receivable activities. * Work closely with Finance and Accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting and timely billing. * Communicate financial performance and projections to senior leadership. People Leadership * Recruit, onboard, train, develop, and retain high-performing team members. * Provide clear direction, expectations, and accountability to project teams. * Build a positive, collaborative, and performance-driven team culture. * Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedback. * Identify training and development opportunities for employees. * Resolve employee conflicts and address performance issues professionally and consistently. * Promote teamwork, accountability, safety, and professional development. * Lead by example and create an environment where employees can succeed. Client & Stakeholder Management * Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders. * Develop and maintain strong professional relationships. * Communicate project status, financial performance, risks, and opportunities. * Manage client expectations and proactively address concerns. * Participate in project meetings, presentations, and negotiations as needed. * Ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery. Strategic Leadership * Translate company goals into actionable project and operational plans. * Analyze business and project performance to identify trends and opportunities. * Develop strategies to improve profitability, productivity, employee performance, and customer satisfaction. * Collaborate with senior leadership to support business growth and operational initiatives. * Drive continuous improvement across processes, systems, and team performance. Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field preferred. * 5+ years of project management, operations, or business management experience. * Proven experience managing budgets, financial performance, and project profitability. * Strong leadership and team management skills. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities. * Strong organizational and time-management skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, project management software, and financial reporting tools. * Strong understanding of operational processes and financial principles. * Ability to make data-driven decisions and take ownership of results.
