DescriptionJob Description: Lead SupervisorReports To: Residential DirectorSalaried, Exempt, At-Will EmployeeBenefits: EligibleDutiesThe lead supervisor creates and maintains a safe, learning environment for employees and students at Telos. They work with the residential director to complete administrative duties as well as special assignments. Their duties are listed below, but are not limited to:DutiesTraining mentors and supervisors to be more efficient and to better connect with the studentsGaining a knowledge of program details, protocols and routinesConducting one-on-one trainings with each staff on shift at least once per shiftTeaching and training mentors and supervisors to advanceSupervising mentors and studentsGenerating and maintaining emotional safetyBuilding relationships and looking for ways to create teamworkCompleting accurate, timely documentation of staff logs, daily incident reports, communication logs and as needed documentationRelaying information about previous shifts to current shiftsFollowing up on assigned tasks and documenting on HQ (online company database)Reading books from the Telos reading listCompleting certifications assigned, including but not limited to: first aid, CPR, food handler’s permit, tuberculosis test, restraint training, suicide prevention and infection control, and general / specialty competenciesWorking with the residential director for administrative and special assignments Attending treatment team on a regular basis and all other required meetings/conferencesRequirementsQualifications:Ideal for former athletes, coaches, military personnel, or those comfortable with confrontation and de-escalationRequires strong presence, emotional control, and ability to influence behavior in real timeExceptional relationship skillsTimely, dependable, reliableAbility to hold appropriate boundaries.Ability to receive and carry out instruction.Genuine care and concern for othersDrivers licenseCan pass a BCICollege education preferred
