Bar Manager

Skies 322 is looking for an experienced Bar Manager who is levelheaded, talented, outgoing and a humble individual who is a true leader. Creating buy in, organization, people skills are all necessary for the position. As a Front of House Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of Skies 322 including delivering exceptional & consistent guest service, overseeing room service for The Olive Ann Hotel, and creating memorable dining experiences. Your attention to the details of maintaining food and labor costs will help you achieve outstanding profitability. Your hands-on leadership style allows for easy teaching and training of your staff. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist the General Manager in managing all aspects of the restaurant, including staff supervision, scheduling, inventory, hiring, disciplining, training, and employee performance reviews. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise. Forecast, implement, monitor, control and report on the various outlet budgets and their components (labor costs, food costs, beverage costs, supplies, equipment, etc.) to maximize revenue and minimize expenses while ensuring adequate supplies and staff are on hand to provide top quality customer service. Oversee shift management and ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Respond to customer trends, needs, issues, comments, and problems to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales prospects. Create, recommend, and implement promotions, displays, and ideas to capture more in-house guests and a larger share of the local market. Monitor and control the maintenance/sanitation of the various outlet areas and equipment to protect the assets, comply with regulations and ensure quality service. PREFERRED MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS At least 2 years of related experience. High level of hospitality knowledge and experience. Available to work nights and weekends, working a minimum of 40 hours per week. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to effectively use Microsoft office software, reservation systems and point of sale systems. Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to food and beverage sales and service. Ability to meet with physical demands of standing, walking, lifting and carrying for periods of time.
