Horace - Chemical Facility OperationsIn the Chemical Facility Operations role, you will support chemical operations through safe product handling, blending, inventory control, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate documentation, managing product setup in the Kahler system, performing routine maintenance, and participating in continuing education to ensure product knowledge, system accuracy, and customer service standards are met.Location13991 E 1700th Rd, Chrisman, IL 61924Reports toLocation ManagerSalary$20.54-$26 per hourKey ResponsibilitiesFollow all established personnel and safety policies and proceduresSetup and maintain product panel assignments in Kahler chemical systemCirculate, blend and mix products according to recommended rates and proceduresLoad and unload containers, pallets, or materials and products, safely on/off trucks, trailers, or railcarsResponsible for documentation and accuracy of all inbound and outbound chemical movementResponsible for monthly physical counts of chemical inventory and assist office admin to research and reconcile discrepanciesResponsible for daily maintenance, cleanliness and compliance with state and federal regulations of equipment and facilitiesAttend continuing education courses to maintain a quality level of knowledge for the products, Kahler system, regulations, and customer relationsRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Leadership CharacteristicsSelf-motivating personality as well as team building skillsDemonstrates ability to interact effectively with management, employees and customers.Proficient with Microsoft Office applicationsStrong time management, administrative, and organizational skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Obtain a commercial pesticide licenseWork EnvironmentThis job operates in both an office atmosphere and out in the field. The nature of the business may require extended hours.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak and listen. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
