Flexible work options availableJob SummaryResponsible for overseeing the accurate and timely processing of incoming receipts, preparing payments for cash application, and monitoring cash application activities to ensure compliance with company turnaround standards.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Monitor and track daily incoming cash receipts to ensure timely processingInvestigate and resolve account or funding issues in coordination with financial institutionsPartner with customers and internal billing teams to obtain remittance details and resolve discrepanciesPerform weekly and month-end reconciliations of cash accounts within the general ledgerPrepare and organize cash receipts for posting and record retentionConduct customer account lookups to support accurate cash applicationApply cash and post adjustments to customer and internal accounts as neededSupport Collection Analysts by providing guidance on cash application and account-related inquiriesResearch accounts receivable history to resolve payment or posting issuesProcess manual deposits using remote deposit capture systems when requiredAssist in the preparation of audit documentation and support audit requestsCrosstrain and support onboarding of new team members as applicableSafeguard sensitive financial information by maintaining strict confidentiality standardsPrepare and submit periodic reports to management as requestedQualifications and Skills: Minimum of one year's experience in MS ExcelMust have strong problem solving and written and verbal communication skillsMust be detail orientedPreferred:Bachelor's degree preferredPrior Accounts Receivable or cash handling experience preferred but not requiredPhysical Demands, Work Environment, and Travel:This role operates in a modern, hybrid work environment, utilizing technology such as laptops, video conferencing tools, cloud-based applications, and collaborative platforms.
