Job Description:
As a member of the fabrication team, you will be required to work with precision in a fast-paced environment. This position will challenge you to meet customer specifications, build top quality fabricated assemblies and follow production schedules. Employees are required to read blueprints and determine materials required, welding procedures and stay within tolerance allowed. The work environment is team driven and requires communication with others.
Job Responsibilities:
· Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating aluminum products
· Select aluminum according to product specifications
· Lay out and mark dimensions and reference lines on material to develop and trace patterns of product or use templates
· Trim, file, grind, deburr, buff, and smooth product surfaces
· Set up equipment and weld parts using appropriate MIG or TIG procedures
· Should have full knowledge of MIG and TIG welding machines
· Must be able to stay within tolerance specifications listed in blueprints
· Maintain clean work environment and use equipment properly
· Lift and maneuver heavy objects on a regular basis
· Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance
Requirements:
· 3 years of verifiable experience as a welder/fabricator
· Execute first class welding quality with state-of-the-art MIG and TIG welding machines and have full knowledge of the equipment
· Demonstrate ability to read blueprints and utilize tape measure
· Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields
· Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
· Ability to handle physical workload
· Ability to multitask while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
· Must be fluent in English language both in written and oral forms
· Be reliable and dependable Monday through Friday 7am to 3:30pm
