We encourage all team members to share their ideas and collaborate to continuously improve our patient care and workplace environment.Anticipated ScheduleThis is a full-time position with the following available schedules:Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 7:30am-6pm Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 7:30am-6pm Some holidays required Compensation$25-28/hour, commensurate with experience and licensureRoleAs a Veterinary Assistant - Urgent Care, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our urgent care department runs smoothly and efficiently. In this role, you will:Safely handle and restrain patientsAssist with radiographs, lab sample collection, and basic lab work (PCV/TP, smears, urinalysis)Monitor and record patient vitals, alerting the medical team to any abnormalitiesSupport technicians and veterinarians in patient monitoring, anesthetic induction and recoveryKeep treatment areas as well as equipment clean and organizedProvide excellent communication with clients and contribute to a collaborative team cultureWho We’re Looking ForExperience as a veterinary assistantPrior experience or interest in Urgent CareExcellent verbal and written communication skillsA team-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environmentComfortable using veterinary software systemsA compassionate, proactive, and collaborative approach to veterinary careIf you're ready to take the next step in your veterinary career and be part of our urgent care team, we’d love to hear from you.
