QualificationsWisconsin-registered Certified Nursing Assistant; graduate of an approved CNA training programHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPrior healthcare experience preferredAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills, compassionate bedside manner, and professionalismPhysically able to lift, bend, and assist residents as requiredAcceptable criminal background check Reporting RelationshipReports to the Charge Nurse or Shift Supervisor Position SummaryProvides routine, non-professional nursing care and support to residents in accordance with individualized care plans, facility policies, and state and federal regulations. Key ResponsibilitiesAssist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, oral care, toileting, nutrition, hydration, mobility, and prosthetic usePerform safe transfers, ambulation, repositioning, restorative care, and range-of-motion exercisesObserve, document, and report changes in residents' physical, psychological, or spiritual conditionObtain and record vital signs, weights, and other assigned measurementsSupport admissions, discharges, and room transfersEncourage resident independence, dignity, choice, and participation in self-care and activitiesMaintain resident rights, privacy, safety, and infection control standardsProvide basic housekeeping of resident areas, including bed changesCommunicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team; participate in shift reports and care planningRemain flexible in assignments, assist in other areas as needed, and perform additional duties as assignedMaintain required training, follow schedules, dress code, and facility policies Physical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and assist with transfersAbility to lift 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionallyPay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour, depending on years of experience.Equal Opportunity Employer
