We're hiring an experienced Steel Detailer (MBS / Tekla) — on-site in Athens, TX.Most strong detailers right now are getting pulled toward remote and outsourced work. Here's the case for the opposite.Athens Steel Building Corp has manufactured pre-engineered metal buildings and steel frames since 1976. Family owned, financially healthy, and stable in a way contract detailing rarely is — outsourced detailing is the first thing contractors cut in a downturn. In-house at a 50-year manufacturer isn't.This is a seat to own. We're looking for someone with real, daily-use proficiency in MBS and/or Tekla who can run our detailing function — produce shop and erection drawings, generate accurate BOMs, review for constructability, and own quality control.
