Sales Representative
You’ll focus on sales in the Sibley area, selling and supporting John Deere compact construction equipment (CCE), compact utility tractors under 100 HP, commercial mowing equipment, and Gator utility vehicles. You’ll also help cover in-store sales occasionally on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Your usual customer list will include local dirt and utility contractors, lawn and landscaping companies, land developers, parks and recreation departments, and large property owners.
Base salary plus commission (based on experience).

What You’ll Actually Be Doing
Running your own territory and growing it by getting in front of customers every week
Prospecting daily—cold calls, stop-ins, follow-ups, and relationship building
Building a pipeline you can rely on, not just chasing one-off deals
Demoing equipment at customer sites and showing how it fits their operation
Putting together quotes and proposals that solve real problems
Staying close to your customers so you see opportunities before competitors do
Knowing trade values, handling trade-ins accurately, and explaining the numbers clearly
Walking customers through financing and PowerGard™ extended warranty options so deals close smoothly
Keeping an eye on competitors, pricing, and local market trends
Taking care of your company truck and demo equipment like it’s your own
Continuing to sharpen your skills through product and sales training

Qualifications
3+ years of successful outside sales experience in a competitive, territory-based role
Proven ability to prospect, cold-call, and close new business
Comfortable owning a territory and managing your own daily activity
Hands-on experience with John Deere compact construction equipment, compact utility tractors (
