This position will oversee the process of Outside Counsel Guideline review, support Finance Intake with review of new Clients and Matters and liaison on Time Entry Policy conformity.This position is available as a hybrid work schedule.Responsibilities:Full responsibility for tracking and coordinating with General Counsel, Attorneys, Clients, and various Firm Departments on the review, storage, and implementation of Outside Counsel GuidelinesRisk assessment on new and existing Clients of the FirmReview and process the opening of new Clients and Matters ensuring they align with Financial Policies and implement special billing arrangementsAlign with HR on Time Entry Policy conformityAd hoc requests as directed by Intake ManagerRequirements:This position requires extensive experience with the billing, collections, and e-billing functions of a law firm.Bachelor's degree preferred5+ years of experience and demonstrated results at a big law firmExperience with Aderant Expert Billing, Entity Manager and BillBlast requiredKnowledge of firm and client billing policies and proceduresAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft ExcelStrong service-oriented skills including excellent interpersonal and communication skillsMust be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer serviceAbility to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practicesThe primary location for this job posting is in Palo Alto, but other locations may be listed. The actual base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, professional certifications and licenses, and work location. The anticipated pay range for this position is as follows: Palo Alto, New York, San Francisco: $49.04 - $66.35 per hour. San Diego, Seattle, Washington, D.C.: $44.13 - $59.71 per hour.The compensation for this position may include overtime and a discretionary year-end merit bonus based on performance.
