Java Developer

Work with Developers, Architects, Business and vendors in the design, development and integration of the services, applications and vendor software within Pepsi domain. Build and integrate the web applications using Restful Web-services, Java, J2EE, Spring and implement the security, authentication authorization using OKTA, SSO. Work on development and validation of applications using Java, J2ee, Spring, Restful Web-services, XML, JSON,PL-SQL, Oracle database, MS SQL. Create and transform application reports into new pl atform called Solix and work on retiring obsolete applications. Provide technical analysis, knowledge transfer, trainings to business users on the new reporting platform, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in timely and accurate manner to improve application performance and functionality. Interact with stakeholders: business owners, vendors and users to understand their functional requirements and convert them into technical solutions. Provide current projects status updates using Clarity , weekly and daily status meetings, coordinate with offshore and onsite teams. Provide a technical bridge between design, development, middleware, testing and support teams about functionalities and solutions with abilities to integrate multiple/multi-level applications across disciplines. Work on application build, version control, deployment using Git, Azure Devops. Work on producing, consuming and integrating Restful web-services. Involve in development and production support of Java applications. Work on technical environments like Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot,MS SQL, Oracle, Azure Devops, PL-SQL,RESTful Web-services, Hibernate,Tomcat, Agile-Scrum. Create and maintain project documentation, status reports , maintain the project lifecycle and create technical documentation. Work on incident management, Change management and release management of applications using tools like Clarity, ServiceNow, Zoom, Outlook. Minimum Education Required:- All the responsibilities mentioned above are in line with the professional background and requires an absolute minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, computer information systems, information technology, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.
