Transactional Tax Attorney

We are working with a globally recognized law firm that is continuing to invest in the growth of its Corporate / Private Equity platform. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of transactional tax experience within a public accounting or law firm position. This opportunity offers the ability to be embedded in the deal process through actively advising on structuring, identifying tax risks, and collaborating with deal teams and clients in real time.Responsibilities• Direct involvement in live M&A and private equity transactions• Advising on tax aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings• Partnering closely with corporate attorneys, private equity clients, and other stakeholders• Drafting and reviewing transaction documents with a focus on tax implications• Lean deal teams with strong mentorship and visibility to partners• Supporting negotiations and helping drive deals to closingQualifications• 5+ years of experience focused on transactional tax• JD/degree from accredited law school• Background supporting M&A and/or private equity transactions• Experience at a top law firm environment (AmLaw experience preferred)• Strong technical foundation paired with commercial awareness• Someone who is detail-oriented but also comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deal-driven settingFor more information regarding this position or other opportunities please reach out to kelly.griffin@jcwgroup.com.
