Precision Machining InstructorLocation: Cherokee County Career and Technology CenterLength of Contract: 187 Days/ 9 MonthsCertification Type: Certified Career Technical Education (CTE) PositionQualifications:Must currently hold or be willing to obtain a renewable Alabama Career Technical Education (CTE) Teacher Certification in Precision Machining within the first two (2) years of employmentEducational and Work Experience Requirements:Option 1: Associate's degree in precision machining or related field with 5,400 verifiable clock hours (3 years) of in-field work experience within the past 7 yearsOption 2: Bachelor's degree or higher in electronics or related field with 3,600 verifiable clock hours (2 years) of in-field work experience within the past 5 years.Option 3: No degree, with 18,000 verifiable clock hours (10 years) of in-field work experience in the program area for which certification is sought.Must pass the CTE Basic Skills AssessmentMust meet background clearance requirements as established by the Alabama State Board of Education (includes fingerprinting and FBI/ABI background checks)Salary Range: According to Cherokee County Schools Salary Schedule.
