We are too!Scope of PositionAs a Shipping/Receiving Technician at Cascade Engineering, you will work with a supportive, collaborative and dynamic team while being responsible for all shipping and receiving functions and some production handling support. Additionally, you will be performing receiving procedures to input/receive incoming components. You will work closely with the production team and be responsible for several production support functions.Location: Buursma Plant at 4950 37th StSE, Grand Rapids, MI 49512Shift: Night shift from 6pm - 6:10am (working 3 days one week, 4 days the next including every other weekend)Target Pay: The target starting base salary for this position is $19.17 - 26.81/hour (plus $1.20 shift premium plus quarterly bonus incentive). Our diversity drives our innovation and has been integral to our success.RequirementsHigh school diploma/GED or PFC Level B with one-year related experienceUnderstanding of BOM requirements and processingStrong CE core competencies (interpersonal skills, emotional maturity)Strong math and communication skillsAble to multi-task while maintaining consistency and accuracy in all workUnderstanding of ISO/TS16949 proceduresBasic computer skills, including QADInventory control, material handling and cycle counting experienceUnderstanding of BOM requirements and processingValid forklift TagAble and willing to perform some work tasks in an outside environment in all weather conditionsValid Driver's license or be able to use all 4 limbs such as arms, legs (upper and lower limbs), torso/trunk at the shoulder. Have coordination of eyes, hands and feet.
