You may be required to respond to emergency calls and situations; document and report care provided; and transport residents to various functions or locations. Familiarity and willingness to work with elderly population is essential for this role.Provide assistance with activities of daily living such as grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair, and maintaining resident apartmentsDocument and report care provided and resident observationsObtain vital signs, heights, and weights.To be successful in this position, we believe that you need the following experiences and skills:Must be an active Certified Nurse Aide in the State of KansasA big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for our ResidentsIf you are under the age of 18, you must provide proper schoolwork authorization (if applicable)Must complete all state educational requirements, CPR is preferredA First Aid certification and Heimlich Maneuver training, may be facilitated by the companyHigh School diploma or equivalent is requiredAll state educational requirements for the position must be met.Experience working with an elderly population, particularly memory care is preferred.If you join Spectrum as a full-time team member, your story will include eligibility for medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, and other voluntary insurance options.
