A position is available in a K-12 school located in Defuniak Springs, FL, seeking two Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to support elementary students facing significant behavioral challenges.Responsibilities include:Providing targeted one-on-one behavioral support for two elementary students in 3rd and 4th grade with cognitive disabilities and extreme behavioral and aggression issuesCollaborating closely with teaching assistants to develop and implement behavior management strategiesDelivering consistent interventions aimed at reducing behavioral crises and improving student engagementManaging all case-related documentation and reportingArranging and maintaining own virtual supervision, as no BCBA supervision is supplied on-siteQualifications and experience desired:Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certificationExperience working with students demonstrating severe behavioral needs in a school settingAbility to collaborate effectively with teaching assistants and staffCapacity to manage challenging behaviors with patience and professionalismWillingness to work under contract during the current school year (CSY)This role requires candidates willing to work on-site with no travel involved, ensuring a stable and consistent support environment for the students.
