Title : Production Specialist Location : Milpitas, CAShift: 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PMCompensation : $25-27 Contract-to-Hire Overview: The Production Specialist supports manufacturing operations on an assembly line. This role works directly on the production floor alongside team members to improve processes, product quality, and overall manufacturing efficiency. The ideal candidate is hands-on, process-focused, and comfortable driving improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Accountabilities: Partner with team members to improve assembly processes and workflowIdentify inefficiencies and drive corrective actions to closureSupport production schedules and resolve process-related issues impacting outputCollaborate with quality personnel on root cause analysis, corrective actions, and process monitoringSupport new product introductions and development buildsDevelop and maintain production-ready documentationAssist with non-maintenance downtime issues and support implementation of process changesMonitor equipment performance and perform minor setups, calibrations, and adjustmentsAssist operators by answering questions and demonstrating proper assembly techniquesPerform spot checks to ensure quality standards are consistently metStay current on process, equipment, and product changes within the manufacturing areaSupport compliance with safety, regulatory, and internal business control requirementsRequirements: High school diploma preferred; associate degree a plus4+ years of manufacturing or assembly experience (higher levels may require additional experience)Hands-on experience supporting production or assembly linesAbility to read and interpret work instructions, procedures, and basic schematicsStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently on the production floorExperience with mechanical and/or electrical assembly preferredComfortable working in a regulated manufacturing environmentStrong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with production, quality, and engineering teamsWork Environment & Physical Requirements: Manufacturing floor environment with exposure to moving mechanical partsRegular standing, walking, and handling of small componentsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs occasionallyRepetitive motion and use of hand tools requiredModerate noise levelQualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation
