Designs, plans, implements and administers a DevOps pipeline with core capabilities across cloud provider services. This includes reporting and full system integration.2. Hands-on experience on setting up Kubernetes platform, deploying microservices and other web applications, and managing secure secrets.3. Leads design efforts, defines end to end architectures, oversees and performs research studies and presentations that include recommendations, and implements solutions.4. Works with other Information Technology (IT) groups in defining architectures and leading projects that cross functional agency systems and other state entities that require coordinating, planning, and scheduling during project transition, development and implementation stages.5. Active hands-on engineering, development, integration and administration of DevOps tools. Strong grasp of automation and monitoring tools.6. Coaching of DevOps capabilities, and creation of education materials to be used throughout the organization.7. Ability to make well-informed decisions on DevOps tooling and implementation recommendations based on real-world professional experience.Minimum (Required)7 Experience with DevOps architecture, support and engineering experience in Global IT environments including cloud and third party outsourced components. Minimum 10-15 years’ experience in software design and development.7 Must have a hands-on experience on setting up Kubernetes platform, deploying microservices and other web applications, and managing secure secrets. Should have working knowledge of container orchestration using Kubernetes.Preffered Azure Kubernetes (AKS) Experience7 Expertise in multiple DevOps tool sets such as: Gitlab, Ansible/Docker, Cloudbee Jenkins,JFrog + Xray / Nexus,Cucumber/Junit/Selenium, SonarQube/Veracode,Nagios/Dynatrace/Prometheus6 Proficient automation skills using a combination of scripting (like Bash, PowerShell) and third-party tools6 Experience with monitoring, logging and operations tools such as Sysdig Secure, Dynatrace etc.6 Experience with declarative and imperative languages (e.g., yaml, json, ruby etc.)6 Good Knowledge on Azure networking for Azure PaaS services.5 Strong background in Agile Principles / Continuous Integration / Continuous Release5 Experience of Azure cloud (Preffered). Other cloud provider (Amazon, google) can be considred.8 Experience of best practices for optimizing IT infrastructure, providing policies, standards and guidelines8 Skill in effective written and oral communication5 Working for or experience with HHSC or other State IT agenciesPREFFERD (optional)5 One or more Cloud certifications such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer and/or equivalent work experience5 Organized, responsive and highly thorough problem solver5 Experience in Disaster recovery and Business Continuity Planning concepts and designs5+ Working for or experience with HHSC or other State IT agenciesEmail: naveed@avitalstaffing.com
