Material Handler 1st Shift The Material Handler - Shipping picks and processes customer orders and distribution centers accurately and on time.Key Responsibilities Responsible for processing customer orders and filling distribution centersCompiles, organizes, and prepares all orders as directed from the Shipping SupervisorOperates a handheld scanner to scan barcodes and delivers materials to their target locationOperates forklift, lift truck, side loaders, pallet trucks, picker and other loading/stacking equipmentResponsible daily inspection of forkliftsPerforms on-spot checkingMaintains and organizes warehouse storage including pallet consolidation and cleanliness of aislesPromote a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner in compliance with all rules, procedures, instructions, devices, equipment and use of appropriate personal protective equipment.
