With customers' mission-critical needs always in mind, our employees deliver end-to-end technology solutions connecting the space, air, land, sea and cyber domains in the interest of national security.Job Title: Manufacturing Technician B CleanroomJob Code: 35065Job Location: Londonderry, NHJob Schedule: 1st Shift, Mon-Thu 4/10Job Description:L3Harris is seeking a Manufacturing Technician B who will provide support to the production line with unit alignment, assembly, and test.Essential Responsibilities:\nAble to follow and comply with documents such as work instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions\nAssemble, align, and test, systems, components for optics assemblies and laser assemblies following specified work instructions and procedures to ensure finished product meets established operational and cosmetic requirements\nWork with RTV, epoxy, and other bonds/adhesives\nComplete fine/complex assemblies with small components and apply bond/adhesives potentially with use of a microscope\nMake fine adjustments while simultaneously monitoring computer/screen output of unit results\nOperate complex active alignment stations and tooling\nUse, read, and interpret oscilloscopes and other measurement devices/tools\nWorking knowledge of electronic, optical and mechanical assemblies\nPerform basic computer activities with programs provided\nIdentify, utilize, and perform preventive maintenance on tools and test equipment as required\nDemonstrate comprehension of engineering prints and schematics\nReport deviations from standard to appropriate resources for review, instruction and authorization and obtain quality inspection when appropriate\nSupport Lean manufacturing efforts through continuous process improvement\nMaintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedures\nApply considerable math skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals\nAbility to compute rate, ratio, and percent\nCultivate a culture that assures effective cross functional team-work\nPerform job duties in a manner that complies with environmental, health and safety regulations, policies and procedures\nDemonstrate ethical and professional behavior in accordance with company values\nParticipate in a variety of meetings, committees and task force groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve issues and maintain specific level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements and policies\nOperate 50%-75% of work-stations as documented by training records\n\nBasic Qualifications:• High School Diploma or equivalent with 4 years prior experience in Manufacturing, 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 0-2 years prior experience in ManufacturingPreferred Qualifications:• Computer skills (Excel, Word); LabView programL3Harris Technologies is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
