Firefly Tutors is URGENTLY hiring for an ELEMENTARY ENGLISH LANGUAGE ARTS (ELA) TUTOR (25/26 School year) IN-HOME/IN-PERSON, Experienced Tutors ONLY Elementary tutor needed in Floral City FL, 34436 and surrounding areas (IN HOME ONLY) MUST BE AVAILABLE some Mon-Fri WEEKDAYS Ideal candidate must have/be: Bachelor's degree or above FUN, skilled, creative, compassionate, intuitive, encouraging tutor Versed in best practices and instruction for English language arts (ELA) for elementary aged students 1-2 years of experience working with students Experience working with students with special needs (ADHD) Responsibilities Provide individualized tutoring sessions in English Language Arts - ELA (reading, writing, spelling, vocabulary, phonics etc.) to enhance student understanding and performance. Implement engaging lesson plans and curricula tailored to students' needs. Utilize learning technology to facilitate effective teaching and learning experiences. Manage session dynamics and foster a positive learning environment for students of varying ages. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
