The company is based in the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area, with ongoing exciting developments in drone technology. Role Description This is a full-time onsite role located in the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area. The Engineer will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test innovative drone systems for heavy-duty cargo transport. Responsibilities include enhancing existing drone technologies, creating detailed technical designs, performing performance testing, and troubleshooting system issues. Engineers will also contribute to continual improvement efforts, ensuring solutions are reliable, efficient, and meet industry standards and regulations. Qualifications Proficiency in engineering design, mechanical systems, and technical draftingExperience with testing, troubleshooting, and systems optimizationKnowledge of robotics, drone technologies, and aerodynamics principlesAbility to work with interdisciplinary teams, problem-solve, and meet deadlinesStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsFamiliarity with safety protocols and regulatory compliance in aerospace or related industriesBachelor’s or higher degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, or related fields) is preferredPrevious experience in drone or aerospace technology development is a plusWillingness to work onsite at the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area location
