Machine Operator
Job Summary
The Machine Operator is primary responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring the performance of production equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role also consists of ensuring the quality of products, troubleshooting equipment issues, and sustaining safety standards.
Responsibilities
* Set up, operate, and adjust production equipment according to schedules and production requirements.
* Setup equipment and perform machine changeovers while adhering to standard operating procedures.
* Monitor machine performance, operating parameters, and product quality; Make necessary machinery adjustments.
* Troubleshoot and identify equipment issues; Escalate issues to maintenance when needed.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
* Follow all company policies, general manufacturing practices, safety regulations, and quality standards.
* Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams to meet production goals.
Experience
* 1+ year of machine operation experience; Preferably in food manufacturing.
* Basic knowledge of manufacturing machinery and troubleshooting diagnostics.
* Ability to read and follow safety rules, work instructions, and operating procedures.
* Basic math and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication skills; Preferably Bilingual in English and Spanish.
* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
