Job InfoPOSITION: Storm Room Attendant B-ANUMBER OF POSITIONS: 1LOCATION: CNG - CT – Hartford, CTHOURLY RATE RANGE: $26.86-$47.42Job Summary –Perform all storeroom duties related to the movement of items at storerooms and other locations according to department policies and procedures. Process any required transactions to document the related activity. Operate any vehicles and equipment necessary to perform job tasks. Assist or fill in for Chief Storeroom Attendant when directed to do so.Key Responsibilities –Receive, store, and issue materials, supplies, and tools. This includes checking, sorting, inspecting, assembling or disassembling, stacking, wrapping, loading, unloading storeroom items by hand or by machine. Package material/items for return to shipper when necessary.Keeps records, does all necessary clerical work of all storeroom transactions, performs required actions in current electronic system of record used by company) and furnishes information as required to other departments.Takes or assists in taking periodic inventory checkups.
